Um... hi!

I always do this... We had another baby. Gavin Pierce is his name; and being The Biggest Baby I've Ever Had is his game. He was born in July of 2012, and I'm sorry I didn't introduce you all sooner! Soo...

Internet, Gavin. Gavin, Internet.

Also, my other kids are growing like weeds and WHO AUTHORIZED THAT TO HAPPEN.

Some current happenings...

* Asher (5 next month!) loves his preschool! He is reading like crazy these days. So much so that I need to be careful what I leave up on the screen - from others' Facebook posts on my feed that would make a sailor blush to potential birthday present ideas, he can decipher it all, so I just keep things closed up tightly :) He likes to play games, do math, and is currently OBSESSED with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He argued with me for a while the other day about the theme song... he insisted that it said "Turtles in a half shell - turtle power," and I told him that I watched Turtles when *I* was a kid, and I know for a FACT that it's "HEROES in a half shell - turtle power." He stopped short of asking me if the world was in black and white then. Book smart AND street smart. Wise choice, kid.

* Joelle (3 1/2) has some funny words she has adopted... for example, she says "fermote" instead of remote, "come-tar" instead of guitar, and she has named her American Girl doll Jricko. Yes, you read that right. JO with RICK in the middle. I have no idea either.

* Cara (almost 2) is really starting to talk up a storm. She doesn't say many intelligible words, at least not words that I understand, but she yaps like crazy! Ironically, one of the words that she says as clear as a bell is Jricko. Ha! She also says No instead of Yes, and says "yah-yoo" (I love you) when going to bed at night. She can count to 13, sings her ABC's, and LOVES Barbies!

* Gavin (7 1/2 months) is such a happy kid. He sleeps through the night most nights (which also makes me love him more), has started to Army Crawl (like a wounded soldier!), and has sprouted four teeth in the past 3 months. He also likes to play with Barbies... but mostly to eat their feet. Kid puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. He is my only child who has become a thumb-sucker. It's so darn cute, and very convenient too!

* Adam and I are coming up on our 10 (!!) year anniversary in June :) Yay! Wasn't it just yesterday that this happened?

Whew! Now that THAT'S all out of the way...!
